With the development of science and technology, the demand of the electricity is increasing, so does the demand of electric equipment such as generator, transformer and others. To ensure safety, electric equipment and products shall be well-insulated. Manufacturers need to increase production efficiency and improve product quality in order to continue to develop in the electric equipment industry.

A Shantou electric equipment manufacturer, which is mainly produce high and low voltage equipment, housing distribution equipment, current-voltage transformer, circuit breakers and other electrical products, has purchased 7 sets ST3 robots from SHINI this year. The robot are used for insert-loading application for 1, 2 and 4 cavities electrical products. In addition, Shini robot offered a solution to cut sprue, assembly and palletizing for the customer. The customer was very satisfied as Shini robots helped to increase efficiency and improve quality.

In this project, the use of the robot is undoubtedly improve the production efficiency of the entire plant, further complete the level of automation and ensure safety. For example, using robot to replace operator to insert the part into mold can provide a safer environment to the worker. Moreover, since the robot movements is fixed, production cycle is stabler after using robots.

Shini ST3 robots can be divided to single-arm and double-arm; single-stage arm and telescopic-arm for selection. They are suitable for 2-plate mold, 3-plate mold and hot-runner system. Capable of arranging, stacking, quality checking, insert-loading and other applications. It’s suitable for injection molding machine under 3600T clamp force.
