About Pneumatic Conveying Business Department

With growing size of Shini Group, Pneumatic Conveying Business Department was established in January of 2008 in Shini Plastics Technologies (Dongguan), Inc. As an engineer of Japanese Sanko Air Devices for 37 years, Nakano Kazvo was hired to be the department director who handles development and design of pneumatic conveying equipment.

 

 

Nakano Kazuo has applied for many patents in Japan, such as hydraulic rotary valve, automatic control rotary valve and so on. Under his guidance, we have successfully developed standard and high-pressure rotary valve which can bear systematic pressure of 1kgf/cm2 and 4kgf/cm2 respectively. They would also continue developing the reverse valve and other pneumatic conveying equipment.

 

 

Applications and Features

Pneumatic conveying technology is widely used in the industry of electric power, petroleum, chemistry, metallurgy, building materials and food etc. It has advantages of low energy consumption, high degree of automation, long-last operation, little pollution which makes it an advanced technology for conveying bulk materials.

Pneumatic conveying takes air (or gas) flow as driving force and it is an integrated technological system conveying solid bulk materials through the pipeline.

■ High quality of environment protection because materials are conveyed in closed pipelines and no dust leaks.

■ A variety of processes can be fulfilled during the conveying such as mixing, batching, grading, packing and dust removing etc.

■ To avoid being moistened, defaced, mixed with other debris and manual intervention to ensure the product quality.

■ Close-loop delivery by special inert gas for flammable and explosive materials can improve security of the system.

Rotary Valve

Rotary valve is also can be called rotary feeder, star-shaped feeder, air lock and so on. Its main components are: main body, rotary object and gear motor. Driven by the gear motor, the rotary body rotates uniformly within the body. Solid materials (powder, granular or their mixture) falls into the sight glass between the fans of the rotary body from the upper part, and then are discharged in the lower part by the rotating fans.

 

Applications of Rotary Valve

The rotary valve is mainly used in quantitative discharge or adding the material in pneumatic conveying system under different pressure. As for vacuum , barotropic and pneumatic conveying system, the rotary valve is the one of the main components which can feed materials continuously and evenly.

Cooperation of Drying and Dust Removing System

 

 

 

With function of quantitative discharge and air lock, the rotary valve can be installed at the material outlet of drying machine which can reduce heat loss, save electric power and shorten the drying time. The dried or crystallized materials can be discharged in the conveying pipeline. As the diagram shows below:

When equipped with dust removing system, the rotary valvecan be installed at the feed port of the dust removing device and conveys materials into the dust removing device. The material will fall into the storage tank for use after conveyed in the dust removing device. As the diagram shown below:

 

 

Accelerating Chamber

SFN type (T type) is applied for continuous inline use (mainly used in low pressure conveying).

SFH type (J type) is suitable for accelerating chamber without powder residue and mainly used in embolization flow.

 

Vent Chamber

Due to leakage of gas, the light power can not give astable supple to the rotary valve. Dedicated vent chamber of special structure can make the rotary valve discharge materials smoothly.


 

Shunt Valve

As an accurate and reliable valve switch, the shunt valve supplies reliable direction reverse for the flow of material in the positive pressure pneumatic conveying system.

 

Reverse Dump Device

It is mainly used for power with peripheral structure in order to reduce the amount of gas leakage, and as shown.

 

Spiral Valve

It is suitable for conveying materials with in relative short distance, and is applicable for the material contains moisture.

 

Circular Array Valve

The unique discharge principle and simple structure is suitable for powder, particles, lumps, powder with moisture, dehydrated lumps, and fibers which is also easy to maintain.

 

Disposable Silo Mixer

High mixing accuracy is obtained by way of multi-point drawing produced by gravity . The particles and powder can be mixed at one time without unnecessary steps. The internal structure is simple and easy to clean.

 

Rotary Feeding System

With solid fuel as micro-carbon powder and oil coke quantify the boiler and all kinds of burner. It is one of the equipment that gives continuous supply to the nonpulsed current.

 

Line Filter

It filters the conveyed gas to avoid debris mixed in the conveying system.

 

Suction Filter

The suction filter is located at the suction side in order to clean up the dust in the air which can be seen in diagram.

 

Line Cooler

The line cooler is located at the outlet side of the blower and is employed when materials conveyed are influenced by the temperature of the gas. Industrial water can be used as the refrigerant, as shown.

 

Manual Gat Valve

It is a dedicated valve applied to open and close the pipeline in the conveying system for solid materials (powder, particles, mixture of powder and particles, flakes and so on). It is located at the bottom of silos, hoppers and other related equipment, as shown.
