Features

• With compact structure and stable operation, the range of dew point variation is ±3℃ and the noise level is lower than 80dB
• Automated circuit control and safety devices are simple and stable. After operation for 5,000~10,000 hours, the indicator light calls for renewal of corresponding parts to assure safe handling with optimal performance

Working Principle

HAD utilizes the principle of pressure swing absorption, that is to say, absorbent absorbs moisture under pressure and desorbs moisture under decompression.

 

 

Compressed air flows into HAD by the rear inlet filter (11), and through the pneumatic control valve (6 or 5) then gets into drying tank (1 or 2). After dried by absorbent coat, it gets out from the non-return valve (9 or 10) and is expelled as dry and purified air after being filtered by the outlet filter (12). Small amount of the air (about 15%) flows into drying tower through the air restrictor (8) and gets into drying tank (2 or 1), and regenerates the saturated absorbent repeatedly. It passes through the pneumatic control valve (3 or 4) and gets out from the muffler (7). The two tanks (1 and 2) operate and regenerate alternately.

 

Performance-price Ratio

• With access to external installation, it offers competitive price compared with similar products.
• HAD generates and provides stable low dew-point dry air without heating which can greatly reduce power consumption.
• Compared with traditional hot air dryer, the dryer equipped HAD brings less drying time and better drying effect which is immune to ambient humidity.
• It consumes less power than SD-H and is suitable for drying engineer plastics with requirement about moisture content (higher than 0.02%) which is hard to be achieved by traditional hot air dryer.

 

Applications

• It is suitable for drying engineer plastics with requirement about moisture content such as ABS, PC, PE, PVC and so on when equipped with SHD-U (SHD-U-HD).
• It is also can be used with SCAD to provide low dew-point dry air which enhances drying efficiency.
