Water Heaters (Magnetic Pump) STM-910MW

Share to:

STM-910MW series are used to heat up the mold and maintain stable temperature, or in other similar applications. Back water from the mold returns to the cooling tank and is cooled in direct way. It is then pressurized by the high-pressure pump and sent to the heating tank and finally to the mold to maintain stable temperature. Microprocessor controller keeps stable temperature and brings affluent extended functions.

Working Principle

High-temperature water from molds returns to the machine and then be pressurized by pump to the heaters. After being heated, water will be forced to molds and continues the circle. In this process, if the temperature is too high, the system will activate the solenoid valve to let cooling water cool down high-temperature water directly until it is down to the required level. If the temperature keeps increasing and reach to the set point of EGO, it will give an alarm and stop operation. The system will give low-pressure alarm and stop working if cooling water pressure does not reach the set value.

Magnetic Drive Principle

Locate the three pairs of magnets (S pole, N pole) in the internal and external magnetic device regularly to form a magnetic coupling system. When the two different poles are opposed to each other, the magnetic energy is minimum because of the attractive power; when the two same poles are opposed to each other, the magnetic energy is maximum. The magnet moves because of the repulsion force of the same poles and the ceramic rod rotates.

Briefly speaking, compared with the frequent maintenance, high costs and possible loss of the traditional mechanical shaft seal, magnetic pump is maintenance-free and has lower operation costs.

The self-produced magnetic pump costs less than imported ones which is competitive in costs and is attractive for production lines that may suffer a lot because of shut down.

This series adopt self-developed magnetic pump of Shini Group. The difference lies between magnetic pump and traditional shaft seal pump is that the former one employs magnetic coupling to drive the impeller. The permanent magnet transmits power in the air without contact. Shafts of the driving machine need not penetrate the covering which can avoid leakage by realization of static sealing. The magnetic pump can work stably for long run without leakage. Shaft seals of traditional mechanical pump adopting dynamic sealing will cause leakage because of abrasion. According to materials and use frequency, the mechanical shaft seal should be changed occasionally (usu. once a year) because it is consumable. Leakage will lead to shut down of production line, loss of manpower and shaft seal so that operation costs and shut-down probability is much higher than that of magnetic pump.
