Solution for Chilling Power Reducing of SIC-8W Water Chillers

Problem Description

One set SIC-8W to two sets of Injection Moulding Machines (Haitian 350T and Toshiba 300T), setting temperature 22℃, actual temp. 23℃, temperature can achieve at desired level; Check the moving parameters: high pressure of refrigerant: 3.5mpa, low pressure of refrigerant: 0.56mpa, the machine works astatically.


Reason Analysis

After checking the inlet/outlet of cooling water temp., the inlet cooling water temp. 29.2℃, outlet cooling water temp. 43.2℃, the temp. difference is as high as 14℃. Cooling water supply is not enough (cooling water flow distributed from main pipe to chiller is too small). Normally, it is reasonable when temperature gap of inlet/outlet water at 5℃.


Solution

We will configure one set of pipeline pumps (flow: 90L/min) or to improve the cooling water supply pipe, which can reduce water pipe resistance and increase the volume of water suppliedt to the cooling water.
