Solution for Temperature Difference of SIC-8W Water Chillers

Problem Description

One set SIC-8W works with one IMM, we check machines running parameter: high pressure of refrigerant is 1.7MPa,low pressure is 0.54MPa. From this data, we can tell machines are in normal operation. Customers give us feedback that cooling temperature can reach desired request at earlier stage, but there is a big difference between actual value and setting value, cooling temperature cant drop down.


Reason Analysis

After opening water tank and check the frozen water quality, we find that the internal circulation of chilled water is of poor quality. Besides, there is a thick layer of oil-like viscosity floating on the surface. After consultation with customers, in order to maintain the mold, a kind of emulsion is added in the chilling water. Due to this old machine is manufactured in 2006, after 3 years continuous working and inferior quality of circulating frozen chilled water, a lot of oily dirt adhere to inner brass pipe of evaporator, which brings negative effects of heat transfer and lead to chilling waters temperature being not dropping down.


Solution

Cleaning dirt in the evaporator and chilled water pipes, we should timely change inferior quality of circulation water and maintain the pipeline.
