Introduction to Pinghu Shini Powder Painting Line

Modernization of industry asks for a higher and higher requirement for quality of goods, and this situation is strengthened by the awareness of environmental friendly due to environmental protection. The conventional way of paint baking is to adopt spray gun to spray solvent with lacquer for baking and hardening. However, the weakness of lacquer to cause air pollution and harm employees health draws the European and American experts to take the powdery solvent instead of cold coating, and then by using static spray gun, electrostatic charge plus coating attach to the surface of materials and finish baking under 200°C. In the end, this technology comes out as the modified powder painting, which is also employed by Shini in production.

 

Powder painting line of Shini Pinghu Factory adopts the most advanced technology consisting of five parts:

 

Rinsing Bath

For the sake of good quality of spraying object, the surface of material should be clean, without oil soiled and dustless. Thus the chemical treatment needs to process in different ways depending on different kinds of material. General physical processing ways include: shot blasting, sand blasting, manual polishing and cleaning. Then it comes to chemical treatment in rinsing bath. Each rinsing bath has following functions such as degreasing, derusting, washing, meter setting and phosphating.

 

Tunnel Furnace

• Plug pin structure allows a compensation of heat expansion for furnace.
• Twice painting with glue heat-resistant ensures no heat leakage.
• The sufficient number of open vent, cooperating with adjustable air brake is capable of discharging steam and exhaust in furnace.
• Heat-resistant silver paints on the surface of furnace can avoid oxidization and heat reflex for furnace body.

 

Water-shade Type Spray Painting Platform

During painting, a liquid curtain is created between water curtain plate and water surface through the fans of inspiration while powerful water mist is produced in closed platform. Then exceeding amount of painting flows into closing chamber through the water flow in curtain plate, finally into pool and matures as bulk solid after being filtered by water curtain, window shades and water mist to achieve the air cleaning purpose with its purification ratio over 95%.

 

Hanging Conveyor

Hanging conveyor composes of gearing, adjusting device, pathway, chain and accessory equipment. Motor speed regulation of reducing drives the caterpillar track to activate the whole chain of conveying. And transmitted objects are hanged over by different kinds of lifting appliances to make a convenient operation.

 

Venturi Backwash Powder Spraying Room

The spraying room composes of room body, recycling bin, rotor plus paper barrel, blower, powder barrel and spray gun. Through direct fan inspiration, the room makes the exceed amount of powder paint sucked back to paper barrel of recycle room, then powder paint sticks to paper barrel with the strong suction fan of blower. The cylinder, through the setting time of solenoid valve, discharges air and sends out compressed air for backwashing paper barrel and striking down the exceeding amount of powder paint to recycle, as well as purify working environment.

Based on actual demand, powder painting can be fulfilled with a spray thickness of 40~150μm, reducing painting times, improve enclosing quality and uniform film is capable of avoiding defects like volcanic vent or pinhole due to solvent evaporation.
• High rate of utilization and economic benefit
Painting by using the recovery facility renders the utilization rate of powder paint reach 90 ~ 99%. Compared with the traditional liquid painting with 60% rate loss, powder painting claims to be the most economical way for painting.
• An easy operation of painting with high efficiency
Provided with training, any operator can be competent for powder painting work. Besides, because the throughput of static painting is large and powder painting capability is 3-5 times of solvent-based material. Therefore, powder painting has the high reliability, able to produce the good quality of film with a low reject ratio.
