Installation for LAE and OMRON Temperature Controller

Installation for LAE Temperature Controller

At present Shini chillers uses two kinds of temperature controllers including single output temperature controller (LTR-5CSRE) and double output temperature controller (AC1-5TS2RW-A). Single output type is controlled by single compressor (Suitable for SIC-3A/W~SIC15A/W) and double output type by double compressor. (Suitable for SIC-15A/W and above)


Single Output Temperature Controller

1) Installation

A. Insert the controller into hole site then fix it with attaching clamp.

B. No.10 and 11 terminals are used to connect temperature signal from sensor; No.6 and 7 connect power supply; No. 2 and 3 are installed to control circuit of compressor.

2) Operation

A. Temperature setting: temperature value of controller has been set within the limits (SPL~SPH). Use temp. setting key plus Down or Up keys to finish temperature setting. All related parameters need to be reset if temp. unit is changed.

B. Parameter setting: press temp. setting key and Affirm key simultaneously for 5 sec. to enter first adjustable parameter, using Down and Up keys to shift parameters. For modifying parameters, it needs to press on temp. setting key and press Down / Up keys to modify values. Release temp. setting key will display next parameter. No pressing any keys for over 30seconds would automatically exist parameters setting system.


Note: The parameter setting is exclusive to temperature controller of LTR-5CSRE.


Double Output Temperature Controller

1) Installation

A. Insert the controller into hole site then fix it with attaching clamp.

B. No.10 and 11 terminals connect temp. signal from sensor. In the case of only two compressors, No.1 and 2 connect control circuit of one compressor in series; No. 4 and 5 connect control circuit of another compressor. In the case of three or four compressors, two groups of normally open output signal connect the input end I1 and I2 of LOGO!, whose internal formula controls compressor start or halt according to temp. control output signals.( Q1/Q2/Q3/Q4)

2) Operation

A. Temperature setting: temperature value of controller has been set within the limits (SPL~SPH). For temp. setting, press Decrease key and after 2 sec. display of 1SP, temp. setting screen will come out in which pressing Decrease or Increase keys to modify set value. All related parameters need to be reset if temp. unit is changed.

B. Parameter setting: press affirm key and power key simultaneously for 10 sec. to enter parameter setting screen. Press affirm time every time will display a new parameter. Press on affirm time will display set value of current parameter. At this time, press Decrease or Increase keys will modify parameter set value. Press Power key will exist the parameter menu.

Installation for OMRON Temperature Controller

At present Shini heaters adopt two kinds of temp. controllers including OMRON and E5EZ-R3T. The controller has a pair of normally open outputs and three pairs of alarm outputs. Choose heating / cooling control and No.3 alarm output will control output for cooling.

1) Installation

Application on STM-2440/2440HT/2440W or below types and PW/WO types (One set of heater)

A. Insert the controller into hole site then fix it with attaching clamp.

B. No.1 and 2 terminals connect power supply, No.19 and 20 connect temp. signal from sensor; No.3 and 4 constitute No.1 output control for controlling heating. In the temp. parameter setting, control mode has been set as heating / cooling(S-HC=H-C). Thus alarm output No.3 (No.2 and 6 terminals) is used to control No.2 output for controlling cooling solenoid valve.

Application on STM-2440/2440HT/2440W/3650/3650W (Two sets or above heaters)

A. Ditto

B. Heaters need to be divided into two groups to achieve precise control and energy saving. Alarm No.1 of temp. controller is connected to unit fro controlling second group heater. No.1 and 2 terminals connect power supply, No.19 and 20 connect temp. signal from sensor, No.3 and 4 are No.1 control output for controlling first group heart; No.9 and 10 are No.1 alarm output for controlling second group heater. (Setting work mode of No.1 alarm output to third-order mode is floor level alarm with value is 5; if practical temp. is lower 5, No.1 alarm output contacts close to start second group heater); In the temp. parameter setting, control mode has been set as heating / cooling(S-HC=H-C). Thus alarm output No.3 (No.2 and 6 terminals) is used to control No.2 output for controlling cooling solenoid valve.


2) Operation

A. Temperature setting: temperature value of controller has been set within the limits (SL-H~SL-L). Temp. set value can be set through Down or Up keys in operating menu, or through initial menu. All related parameters need to be reset if temp. unit is changed.

B. Parameter setting: upon delivery, the machine only retains permission to modify temp. set value. To finish setting by entering parameter setting, it needs to set OAPT and ICPT as 0. (Press Function key and Mode key simultaneously for over 3 sec.) then press Adjust key and Mode simultaneously for 1 sec. to exist protection function.

3) Default Parameter List

A. STM-O / Oil Mould Temperature Controller


 Note: 1. SL-H is set with 300℃ when applicable to STM-HT; 2. The parameter is exclusive to E5EZ-R3T.

B. STM-W / Water Mould Temperature Controller


Note: 1. SL-H is set with 160℃ when applicable to STM-PW; 2. The parameter is exclusive to E5EZ-R3T.

C. STM-WO /Dual-purpose Water-oil Heaters


Note: The parameter is exclusive to temp. controller of E5EZ-R3T
