Application Occasions for Hot Runner System

Nowadays, the whole industry is under development with variety kinds of products whose updating is fast among harsh competition. In this condition, products of hot runner system cater to customers’ demand for short lead time, high accuracy and low cost, with the development tendency below:

Precisions of plastics parts include dimensional precision, geometrical precision and appearance precision (Gloss and tone). To meet the requirement of precision, moulds manufactures would continue to develop high pressure injection molding and injection compressed molding. Molding contract is considered the key factor affecting precision but high pressure injection molding can reduce the contractility rate of resin and enhance dimensional stability. Gas-aided injection molding technology has become mature for the reason that it is able to improve both internal and external quality with advantages of low injection pressure, little deformation, easy to shape up products which have the diversity of wall thickness. Besides, the technology is also capable of saving material and advancing production efficiency.

 

Application of mould standardized parts becomes extensive

This kind of application would influence manufacturing cycle of moulds tremendously. Not only can standardized parts shorten production cycle but they improve moulds quality and reduce factory cost. Therefore, the popularity of standardized parts would become widespread in future.

Prospect of fast economical moulds appeared to be bright

Today is the age of small-lot production with multi-species, which accounts for over 75% of industry in 21st century. The short service life and changing patterns of products require a much shorter moulds production cycle. Thus developing fast economical moulds is being hot-topic among customers. For example, these kinds of moulds will be used to develop super-plastic materials to make moulds or employing intensifiers like epoxy, polyester, added metal and glass to produce simple moulds whose features include simple crafts, easiness to control precision, small contractibility and low price.

 

Proportion of die cast moulds will be enhanced as products such as vehicles and motors become light-weight. Also there is increasingly high demand for the service life and complexity of die cast moulds
