SHINI----Always Struggling, No Depressing

Shini Group was established in Taipei Taiwan 40 years ago, mainly specialized in manufacturing of electric thermal components initially and later extended to plastics machinery industry. With fast development of company shifting from the OEM business, Shini had built up its own brand and gradually developed a professional manufa cture and sales group, starting from domestic market in Taiwan, then breaking into mainland China, further permeated to 54 global overseas markets. Shini Group boosted double digits growth in sales annually over recent years, we firmly believe that maintaining stable growth is one of the essential conditions to ensure prosperity for Shini herself. "Focusing on Particular Business, Pursuing to be the World Leader" is our management principle, which is based on related diversity to develop business. In early 2009, Automation Business Department was set up to focus on designing and producing Robots. We have successfully researched and developed Swing-arm Single Axis, Three Axis, Five Axis Servo Motor Beam and related tools, which are approved by both domestic & overseas customers and put in mass production. We have full confidence that Automation Business Department will become main driving force to bring about growth for Shini.  

 

Expand Manufacturing Base

After Shini Group keeping double digits growth in sales volume annually, in order to ensure production capacity meeting sales demand; we have expanded Dongguan Plant of 16,000m2 in 2009. In addition, Shanghai Pinghu Plant, the largest auxiliary equipment plant with 36,000m2 in Asia had been built by Shini. The expansion of Taipei Plant was completed in the end of 2009. The new India factory had started operation to expand the local market and serve costumers in July, 2009. The domestic market would be domain in the initial phase for it. Shini will benefit from cost saving, quicker delivery, sales increasing and commercial risk distributing in China market. We expect to double production capacity of the whole Shini Group in 2010.

 

Comprehensive Soft Competitions

With rapid development over past few years, Shini has been self-criticizing about how to improve management capability. Due to global financial crisis, Shini slowed down her steps and make adjustment of inner structure and efficiency. For instance, in respect to management, ISO-9001 system was rebuilt and internal audit & control was introduced to all departments. Shini made great investment in ERP system and eLearning courses of all Shini products as well as eCommerce application. We have to make full of use of such depressed global crisis period to consolidate company constitution completely. Finance is not our concerned. Taipei new factory was completed, Dongguan workshop for machine process are under construction day and night, Shanghai Pinghu Plant, the largest auxiliary equipment manufacturing base in Asia, was successfully set up, which is still in pre-preparation phase and will start operation in early 2010.
 

Administrative department put forward all kinds of training to executives and staffs. The bar-code system was introduced to strength material management. We advocate inter-departmental cooperation and coordination to reduce idle Production Department and Metal Sheet Department under unified management are positively working together to improve working efficiency. They are endeavor to improve craftsman-ship and product quality and increase self-making components to ensure spare parts quality, shorten delivery time and cost-saving.
 

R&D department has already reformed new relevant process. Knowledge management has yield preliminary results. With help of Japanese technical consultant, Shini is releasing variety of design standard and inter-department cooperation between R&D department and production department. Strict sample machine testing and certification process can reduce design defects of new products.
Both domestic and overseas customer service supporting department are striving to develop online learning course. The sales department had received good comments about CD of product training course (Chinese and English Version). The more aggressive channel development and management would raise sales.  

 

Prospects and Visions

With our above joint efforts, we firmly believe that Shini Plastic technologies Group will pose significant transformation from production-Oriented to technology-oriented, from manufacture to service innovation, from local company to international enterprise. On account of overseas sales is up to 30% of revenue, one third of products are sold to developed European countries, we should be most severe critic with ourselves. Shini Plastic Technologies Group is striding forward to digitalization times. We always stick to one center for R&D, five bases for production and global marketing. The whole group communicates each other by means of information network, we make full use of database to accumulate and share R&D, design, production, product application, customer services and marketing experiences, from which we could constantly make use of successful experience and knowledge, as well as speed up R&D, constantly marketing and feedback from customer.


In a word, we only believe that in Shini, there is only struggling and prosperity, no depression.
