Application of Positive Pressure Conveying System

With the flourishing of science and technology, social economy as well as people’s living standard has been greatly improved. Daily necessities made of all kinds of plastics such as engineering plastics; modified plastics and various environmental protective plastic can easily be seen in people’s daily life. Such as the automobile fuel tank, with upgrades of production process, technology, and efficiency, the materials of making an automobile fuel tank will also be replaced by plastics.


There is an international plastic technology company in Changchun which specialized in the production of automobile fuel tank. It is a leading corporation with the most developed production technology and capacity than its peers. With professional management and production technology, automation equipment is also constantly put into production. In order to maximize its production efficiency, they find Shini, one of the largest manufacturers of plastic auxiliary equipment, to help them with the automation solution. According to customer’s requirements, Shini finally comes up with a design of positive pressure conveying system with conveying capacity of 20T/hr to feed large-scale silo. The packing of the materials is also replaced by container. With this design, manpower and conveying time will be saved, thus efficiency will be improved.


The core part of positive pressure conveying system is the latest vertical rotary valve LRV40 launched by Shini. Adopt vertical rotor, the new rotary valve discharges the conveying substances from the side part by the effect of air pressure and reduced the interplanar distance greatly. Also the vertical rotary valve introduces a movable design and the air outlet and material discharge port all equipped with quick disconnect coupling with which operation can be more flexible and convenient.


Every silo is has a laser material level detector with which material level can be viewed directly when material is conveying from a container to a silo. With PLC control, materials can be accurately controlled and when one silo is filled, the system will automatically turn to the next.


Negative pressure system is applied in the process of material conveying from the silo to the workshop. Through hermetic tube, materials automatic conveying from the material to the silo then to the workshop can be achieved. Therefore, production efficiency will be greatly improved.
