Revolution of Industrial Water Chillers SIC

Since the time Shini made its first small-powered chiller, it has been developed into a very important product series of Shini group. The power of chillers has been expanded ever since, from the standard SIC-A/SIC-W series to central water chiller SICC-A, then to SICC-W. To better service the customers and cater to the market, Shini has also designed SOC series oil chiller for machine tools.

For a long time, industrial chiller has been using R22 refrigerant as the medium in the operation which features excellent thermal performance, stable chemical property and with no ignitability and toxicity. Being in the dominant place of refrigerants for such a long time, R22 has been restricted now for the Freon it contains can cause damage to the ozonosphere. To date, there have been many holes existed in the ozonosphere among which some holes are even larger than the area of Africa. The dominating reason for causing the holes is the utilization of Freon.

According to the Montreal Protocol, the developed countries must cut down 75% of the R22 production and eliminate it until 2030, and for the developing counties, the production yield of R22 must be stopped from increasing in 2013 and then be reduced step by step until totally eliminated in 2040.

R410A is a new refrigerant with working pressure 1.6 times to R22 chiller; heat exchange performance is much better; the refrigerating efficiency is much higher and with no harm to the ozonosphere. R410A is mixed from two kinds of compounds of quasi azeotropic points. With elements of hydrogen, fluorine and carbon (denotes as hfc), the refrigerant features stability, no toxicity and better performance. With no chlorine, no reactions can happen thus no damage can be caused to the ozonosphere. So far, R410A is the most suitable refrigerant accepted by the world to replace R22 and is already popular in countries in Europe and America, Japan etc.

The working pressure of R410A is higher than that of R22, thus the components prices of the chiller are much higher. At present, R22 can still be used for a while in developing countries and a lot of manufacturers are still using it to chase profits regardless of the damages to ozonosphere. However, Shini is not one of them. As one of the biggest suppliers of plastic auxiliary equipments globally and the leading enterprises domestically, Shini has strong sense of social responsibility and makes effects to protect the environment. In 2012, Shini took the lead to apply pro-environmental refrigerants on its products. Moreover, Shini had invested ¥3,000,000 to research and develop alternative technology. Confronted with such high pressure of cost, Shini takes environment as well as the interests of the clients into consideration, replaces R22 with the new R410 for all its products. The well-known auxiliary equipment enterprise, once again leads the world trend and be the pioneer of the environment protection.

According to statistics, power consumption of the refrigeration equipments occupies about 15% of the world total production of electricity. Deeply knowing the importance of power, Shini focuses on the improvement of the chiller efficiency to reduce the energy consumption. The design and operation more energy-saving chiller is also one of the focuses. In the application of the Shini chiller series, the requirements of significant variation in load can be achieved by co-working with vortex chiller units. Through optimizing technical features of the products in different applications to improve the efficiency of the chiller system thus to greatly cut the operation cost for the users.

For two years, the R&D team of Shini has gone through design calculation, parts selection, mechanical matching, metal plate producing and product testing through which more and more Shini chillers meet the national GB18430 standard testing conditions. And finally in June, 2012, Shini finished refrigerant replacement of all the chillers series and put into volume production. Compared with the R22 models, the R410A chillers have optimized system and refrigeration effect is 20% higher. In other words, the new chiller is much more energy-saving. In addition, due to the optimization of the evaporator, the refrigerant can perform better in the evaporator and thus helps to prolong the service life of the compressor.

Shini also pays much attention to the noise problem of the chiller. With the effort taken by our R&D team, the noise of Shini water chiller is 5dB (A) lower than the national standard. Shini water chillers can provide the customer a much comfortable working conditions.

 

 

 

The newly-launched SIIC-A series is more energy-saving than the common one. With energy efficiency ratio of 2.8, compared with 2.4 of the common one; the frequency reversion water chiller every hour can save 2.15 degrees of electricity to the highest. In case of 261 days a year and 8 hours a day to operate, it can save 4489.2 degrees of electricity. This series chiller adopts pro-environmental control system which is applicable the precise temperature control of plastic industry. It significantly reduces the cycle time for better production efficiency. In addition, SIIC-A-R2 series can be applied to electronics manufacturing industry to ensure a normal operation temperature for equipments.
