The Application of Honeycomb Dehumidifier

Share to:
Generally, there are three ways of dehumidifying: cooling, compressing and absorbing. Here is mainly about rotor dehumidification of absorption dehumidification. Rotor dehumidifier has two kinds of dehumidifying system: 2-area dehumidifying system (see Fig. 1) and 3-area dehumidifying system (see Fig. 2). 2-area dehumidifying system consists of two parts: the dehumidifying area and the recycling area. The humid air will turn to be dry air after passing through the rotor dehumidifying area where moisture in the air is absorbed. At the same time, there is another flow of high temperature air goes through rotor recycling area to regenerate roter by hot air. For such kind of dehumidifier, the dew-point temperature of dry air is not lower than -20℃. Such dehumidifier is suitable for situations where it doesn’t require very low dew-point temperature of dry air, like for dehumidifying of air conditioner and warehousing.

3-area dehumidifying system consists of three parts: the dehumidifying area, the recycling area and cooling area. Functions of the dehumidifying area and the recycling area are the same with those in 2-area dehumidifying system. However, 3-area dehumidifying system has a cooling area where the dry low temperature air cools the rotor to enable the rotor to absorb moisture better. Therefore, such kind of dehumidifier is suitable for situations where it requires dew-point temperature no higher than -20℃, like the situations of plastics molding and drying, chemical plant and lithium electromagnetic factory, where it requires extremely low dew-point temperature of dry air.

Rotor dehumidifier crystallizes molecular sieve on thin glass fiber structure with high temperature by using special technology, which can effectively improve the ability of moisture absorption and service life of molecular sieve. Besides, it can avoid contamination of dust from the aging of molecular sieve. The rotor realizes continuous dehumidification to ensure stable low dew-point air by moving with steady speed. Therefore, rotor dehumidifiers are widely used.
