Shini Water Chiller will Be Entirely Upgraded

The current R410A refrigerant water chiller of Shini is capable of meeting the requirement of refrigerating capacity. However, its reliability and energy efficiency can be further improved. Therefore, we will upgrade the water chiller to make it more competitive in this industry. 

The water chiller will be improved in the following ways: First of all, configure parts of refrigerating system according to the chilling water temperature which is more suitable for the industry to improve the energy efficiency and reliability of the machine. Secondly, change the connecting way of water pipes to lower leakage rate and use stainless steel pipes to improve water quality. Thirdly, water tank adopts circular structure, which makes its wall bear stress evenly and reduce the possibility of cracking. Then, use programmable temperature controller as its controller to enrich the machine’s functions of controlling and displaying. It also brings nicer interface and convenient operation. At last, cancel mechanical pressure controller and change to use electronic pressure switch as the pressure protection device for refrigerating system. 

Choose parts for refrigerating system with new criteria. It’s used to select models basing on criteria in GB/T 18430.2-2008 about water chilling (heat pump) packages for household and similar application, which is suitable for refrigerating device of home application and business application. It’s different with the requirements of industrial refrigerating device. Now, knowing better the water chiller application for plastic industry, Shini has the testing criteria which are more suitable for the industrial refrigerating device. Improve the reliability and energy efficiency of the machine when designing the system and configure system parts again. Ascertain the machine’s safety and reliability when running under different environment temperatures by testing the degree of undercooling and superheat under extreme temperature. 

Galvanization pipe will rust after being put into application for a while, which will affect the water quality. Declining water quality has bad influence not only on the mold but also on the water chiller. First of all, chilling water with rust will affect the heat exchange performance of the compressor, which directly leads to declining cooling ability of the water chiller. In addition, it will increase the difficulty of cleaning the evaporator and affect service life of the compressor. The pipes are processed by welding and are connected to each other through flanges. In this way, it avoids to use screw joints which brings disadvantage of multi connection joints. 

The current water tank is of rectangular structure which makes each wall bear different water pressure to make the walls bear uneven stress and thus cause welding points to break. As for the circular water tank, its walls bear the same stress which won’t lead to uneven bearing of stress on each wall. Since water goes the shortest way, the bigger the water tank is, the greater the temperature difference inside the water tank will be. Consequently, the volume of the water tank can’t be fully used. Circular tank can reduce dead water and make the temperature inside the water tank more even, which make full use of the chilling water. 

The current water chiller adopts Italian LAE temperature controller which can meet the requirements of temperature accuracy. However, such type of temperature controller has minimal function. It can’t display temperature except the setting temperature and actual temperature. The controller of big liquid crystal display panel has plenty advantages: it makes the interface nicer; allow to increase functions according to requirements; it can use the circuit board to centrally control the protection devices, like anti-freezing switch, pressure switch. 

The new type of temperature controller realizes to directly control the high/low pressure protection of the system through the electronic pressure switch. The electronic pressure switch is not only convenient to install but also reduce leakage points for the system. What’s more, it reacts quickly and can send out signal fast to protect the machine. Therefore, it’s suitable for the situation of highly central control.
