Case of Central Conveying System in Package Industry

One Packaging Products Co., Ltd. in Zhejiang Province is mainly engaged in producing various packaging products that involves food, clothing, general merchandise, electronic, chemical, and medical industries, etc. There’s are 60 sets of plastic film extruders in this company, and we’ve planned a set of central conveying system for it as to save labor cost, reduce energy consumption and improve production capacity.

1.For storage, we’ve designed ten standard storage tanks MST-200 behind the large volumetric mixer for material temporary storage. The customer mainly produces the package bag, which is made of PE, PP, OPP and other virgins that no need drying. Materials are fed into the volumetric mixer directly in proportion, and flew into the standard storage tank for temporary storage after mixing. As to prevent material cluster, the pneumatic shut-off suction box is mounted at the bottom of each storage tank.

2.Materials in storage tank need to be allocated into each conveying pipe, so we’ve equipped 48-mesh central material distribution station with quick coupling to facilitate assembly. This small, exquisite distribution station with less occupation is convenient for customer to switch the material, and the stainless steel prevents material from contamination.

3.In central conveying system, the central vacuum generator SCVG provides vacuum power for material conveying. Our company planned 12 sets of roots blowers as core driving force, and two of them are for back up to ensure continuous conveying. As to protect the blower for longer service life, 12 large central filters that equipped with auto-purging devices and optimum cloth filters are employed. All conveying pipes are specially designed with stainless steel after our all-round considerations. Considering the very large space of the workshop, we used lots of pipe connectors, and the pneumatic butterfly valve is installed at the top of the pipe on each extruder.

4.For operation, the central console is adopted to monitor whole conveying system through the panel. Extra large touch panel is conveyed for you to control all the machines.
