Compared with multiple standard dosers, SCM-4 is more economical for the blending of many kinds of color master-batches (Within four colors) and application of adding additives by proportion.

 

Application:

It is mainly applicable to situations when it is necessary to add multiple components (Within four components) or additives in the process of plastic injection / extrusion / middle hollow molding.

 

Q&A:

Q: What are the differences between SCM-4 and SCM?
A: SCM-F adopts touch-screen design and it is audio-visual to learn the operation easily while SCM adopts touch-tone design. SCM-4 adopts centralized control fashion in which one control cabinet manages four motors. If one motor lacks of material, other three motors will halt. SCM adopts independent control with one control cabinet managing one motor.
Q: For dispose color master batch granule with diameter of 0.2 mm, is it suitable to use SCM-4?
A: Too small diameter of granule makes a difficult control for accuracy. SCM is unsuitable for this kind of application. The minimum diameter of granule should not be smaller than 1.5 mm. SCM-4 is unsuitable for conveying materials with great changeable conveying proportion, poor flowability and easy agglomeration.
Q: What is the difference between application of SCM-4 to IMM and extruder?
A: Signal-wire pressure of application of SCM-4 to IMM is 24VDC. SCM metering screw synchronizes IMM screw; signal-wire pressure of application of SCM to extruder is 0~10VDC. SCM-4 metering screw continuously runs as extruder screw. To shift SCM-4 between IMM and extruder mode, it is just need to connect according input signals of control cabinet, and then select the mode through touch screen.
