Introduction to Ningbo Shini Casting Factory

After half-year’s building, the newly established casting department in Ningbo Shini has been formally put into production in July, 2010, aiming to serve wide customers in terms of making a balance of domestic market supply and demand and to improve the situation of quality instability and long lead time.

 

The professional technicians introduced from Taiwan will help corporation a lot in material selection, technical design, process control and goods inspection with their abundant experiences to better serve customers. The production assembly lines includes: two 500kg full-auto control electric furnaces, six pipeline molding machines, a complete set of full-auto sand conditioning system and one hook shot blasting machine while inspection equipments include: one stokehold CE.Meter, one direct-reading spectrometer, one universal material testing machine, a set of metallographic analysis system, one sclerometer and one metal detector of defects. Products types cover all the installation kits that meet high requirement of Machinery Industry.

Cast materials of Shini include FC150, FC200, FC250, FC300 and FC350 equal to HT150, HT200, HT250, HT30 and HT350 accordingly. Brands of nodular cast iron include FCD400, FCD450, FCD500, FCD550, FCD600 and FCD700 because Shini cast irons are small castings with limited 600mm length, 400mm width and 150mm height and models below.

 

Production Equipments

Intermediate frequency furnace (Two sets): it originates from Japans advanced design idea and adopts Taiwans manufacturing techniques. Equipped with electric conduction tester ensures high efficiency and energy saving, also makes a strict configuration on induction coil and conductive copper. The human-computer interface configuration minimizes artificial operation errors and avoids any effects on production efficiency so that molten iron smelt have a stable quality and controllable temperature.

 

Full-auto sand conditioning system (One set): it is equipped with automatic human-computer interface operating system to realize the monitoring for treatment ingredient percentage of sand conditioning, effective sand circulation recycling and dust-cleaning apparatus. Since poor quality of sand results in casting defects, it will need sophisticated equipment to stabilize performance parameters such as intensity, compression ratio, AFS granularity index, moisture, air permeability and activated clay.

 

Molding machine (Six): sand model features uniform hardness, High maneuverability and flexibility, which makes an important leap of industry improvement and development as for traditional production.

 

Shot blasting machine (One): the hook rotary type is capable of eliminating defects from traditional drum-type like easy damages to casting appearance and dust pollution, as well as improve goods quality and working environment in accordance with ISO quality system and environmental assessment system.

Inspection Equipment

CE. Meter: stokehold is capable of analyzing rapidly silicon carbide content, liquidus, solidus temperature curve and carbon equivalent. (CE)

 

Thermodetector: stokehold is capable of testing tapping temperature with relatively high accuracy.

 

Direct-reading spectrometer (One): with high degree of automation, selectivity, simple operation and rapid analysis, it is capable of making passage quantitative analysis for Iron, copper, aluminum, titanium and nickel with wide range of calibration curve and high accuracy. Sampling will be made for both stokehold and furnacerear.

 

Metallographic analysis system (One set), the principle is: firstly collect metallographic pictures by means of video capture card or digital camera, then obtain inspection result through the disposal and analysis with pictures. The rheid software develops more than 100 kinds of functional modules based on inspection standard. Besides, according to actual needs, special inspection cases are available for finishing inspections aiding by rheid system.

 

Universal material testing machine (2 Ton): it adopts high-accuracy load cell (American TRANSCELL). Equipped with high precision testing system, its peculiar manual control makes unloading specimens and operation convenient, plus PC machine software testing of stretch, compression, shear, tear, peel can be finished conveniently.

 

Richter scale sclerometer: it operates fast with high accuracy and is suitable for testing of large-scale metal products and part hardness. With the prescribed quality of striker, a shock will be made towards specimen surface. Then hardness value can be calculated with punch springback speed from 1mm towards the surface of specimen and strike velocity ratio.

 

Metal detector of defects: it is a portable, no damage to products instrument, which is capable of detecting, positioning, assessing and diagnosing various internal defects like crack, impurity and stoma fast and conveniently. It can be applied both to laboratory and engineering because of its role as indispensable apparatus. During traveling of ultrasonic in tested materials, the defects could be detected according to the effect of acoustics quality shown in material defects on the ultrasonic traveling. Based on the theory above, ultrasonic can measure various defects such as crack, impurity and stoma of metals and nonmetals, composites.
