Plastimagen 2011 Mexico

Shini was present at Plastimagen 2011 Show, the most important plastic show in Mexico and Latin America.

EXHIBITION HIGHLIGHTS:

Centro Banamex convention and exhibition center, in Mexico City, hosted Plastimagen 2011, arranged over 27,000 sqm exhibition surface, more than 800 exhibitors from 21 countries, and 11 international Pavilions.

During the 4 days exhibition, over 31,000 people attended the show, at least 12% interested in auxiliary and downsizing equipment.

Shini Mexico, through it s distributor Dycomet-Pagani, exhibited several Shini equipment as ST1, SS-700, SIC-12.5A, STM-910, SHD-100, SDD-40U/30H, and other peripheral equipments on it s own 108 sqm booth, the largest on this show exhibiting plastic auxiliary equipment and the largest after Injection Machines manufacturers booths.

Of course, other Shini equipments such as chillers, granulators and hopper loaders were also exhibited on other Injection Machine manufacturer’s booths, having Shini brand shown at several spots around exhibition floor.

MEXICO IN NUMBERS:

Mexico s population is 112.3 million and 195,700 people (0.17%) are employed in the plastic industry sector.
Mexican industry transformed 5.8 million tons of plastic during 2010, an 8% growth vs. 2009:

• 45% was used for Packaging products,
• 21% to Consumer products (household, disposables, toys, etc),
• 7% Electric/Electronic products,
• 4% Automotive industry,
• 23% Other (construction, furniture, agricultural, industrial, medical, etc.)

SHINI MEXICO HISTORY:

It was during 2007 K-Show when Dycomet-Pagani contacted Shini for the first time, looking for reliable and competitive plastic auxiliary products to offer in Mexico. In March 2008 -during Plastimagen 2008- Dycomet-Pagani started operating as Shini distributor in Mexico.

During more than 3 years, both companies have achieved a very good cooperation, and have increased Shini presence, image, reputation and sales in Mexico year after year, competing with all auxiliary equipments brands around the world, all present in Mexico.

PLASTIMAGEN 2013

The 18th International Plastics Exhibition & Conferences Plastimagen 2013, will be held March 12 – 15, 2013. Organizer has stated that 80% of available space is already allocated.
