Packaging pioneer, Varypack's vision to factory digitalization

Established in 1991, Varypack is a private enterprise specializing in manufacturing food packaging and packaging material, which introduced a German thin-walled in-mould-labeling injection production line at the end of 2016. Combined with high-speed thin-wall moulds, it can complete all production processes from material conveying, high-temperature high-speed injection moulding, in-mould-labeling, product stacking, and 360-degree digital imaging quality check to inline packaging and bagging automatically in one assembly line. Achieving fully automated and unmanned production throughout the production.




The partnership of Shini and Varypack began in 2003 and has been 20 years. In 2022, Shini joined Varypack's construction project of a production base in Ningxiang, Hunan province, with a building area of over 30,000 sqm. Its first phase investment is about 170 million yuan. The construction lasted 12 months and was completed on November 22nd. After the project had been put into operation, it reached the intelligent manufacturing standard. It obtained an annual output of about 400 million yuan.


As a qualified supplier of Varypack, Shini has planned three groups of systems to fulfill the production demands of the Ningxiang base. It includes the dosing and mixing system, intelligent material processing system, and intelligent central cooling water system.



The gravimetric blender SGB achieves fully automatic and real-time dosing and mixing of various materials, with a mixing accuracy of ± 0.1%. The touch panel with a standard Ethernet interface can support technology without barriers, providing accessible data interconnection services in the digital era. 
Based on the demands of intelligence for centralized material processing solutions. The unique automatic material distribution solution can realize unmanned material change. Thus only the whole system merely required material refills periodically. It significantly improves the system's reliability. Moreover, industry-leading digital technology drives transparency in material processing and traceability. It connects with the host system, which can aid the enterprise in creating a complete data chain.






Based on changes in production demands, the intelligent central cooling water system can provide the cooling water required by the production equipment in real-time. Thus fulfilling a dual circulation loop of room-temperature water and chilled water. Besides, it also can provide appropriate load pressure and water amount automatically as per the actual demand of the equipment so that the system can always work within the range of water amount based on real needs, ensuring appropriate working conditions and saving energy consumption.
