Phnom penh is the largest city of Cambodia, a country borders on Thailand and Vietnam but much less developed. Before 1960, Phnom penh was called the pearl of Asia. The population now is 2 million out of that whole country of 17 million. Most of the citizens are Khmer, others are Vietnam, ethnic Chinese and Tai people. In history, Cambodia was a country with lots of wars and civil strives, however, with the assistance of the UN, the political stability in Cambodia is much better than before.

The major economy of Cambodia lies in textile and garment processing exportations which occupies 75% of its industrial fields. Plastic industry in Cambodia is basically relies on the importation from surrounding countries. Textile is the theme of this season exhibition; the main plastic industrial related enterprises are only several foreign investments of bottling plant. Although the current condition of plastic industry is not so satisfied, the potential is unlimited. Compared by expanding Cambodia market, to strengthen the surrounding Thailand and Vietnam market is the better choice for Shini, and the Cambodia market can be reevaluated in the near one or two years.
