Automation in Automobile Plastic Parts Manufacturing

Automobile is a common transportation which brings convenience to human life. From the view of consumer, the automobile starts to appear in every family due to the increasing income of the family and the dropping price of the car. If an automobile producer tries to stand out in the whole industry; its functionality, appearance design, and added value must have reached to another level. In order to catch the customer’s attention and harvest from the market, the auto part producer has to develop new product and streamline production process. The use of automated equipment in production lines can effectively control costs, improve production efficiency, ensure product quality and improve the overall competitiveness of enterprises. 



A plastic injection molding factory in Guangdong province is a manufacturing and trading company. The company mainly produces plastic parts for automobile, electric appliances, and electronic devices. In September 2018 it cooperated with Shini automation department by using 14 sets of ST5 robots on automobile plastic parts injection modling. After the equipment is put into use, the manipulator is stable in operation, and the cycle time of the injection molding machine is unified, the production efficiency and quality are obviously improved, and the customer is very satisfied.



Shini ST5 robot is designed to take out products and runners from injection molding machine, it can be divided to single-stage arm and telescopic-arm. They are suitable for 2-plate mold, 3-plate mold and hot-runner system. Capable of arranging, stacking, quality checking, insert-loading and other applications. It’s suitable for injection molding machine under 850T clamp force.
