Nitrogen Dryer SND-10

Share to:

Present, PC materials are commonly used to produce optical lenses for high transparency. However, the materials can be easily oxidated due to over dry and degraded (turning yellow) in the high-temperature drying, if mishandled, as resulting in a high defective rate. Although this phenomenon has a little improvement by working with the dehumidifier, it is necessary to find the solution from the root cause to avoid the problem.

The nitrogen dryer SND-10 newly developed by Shini integrates nitrogen with its drying technology and vacuum pressure conveying function into a single unit, which can generates high concentration nitrogen, and dilutes the oxygen in the drying hopper. The reduction of oxygen in the hopper diminishes the degrading phenomena in the drying process under high temperature. Meanwhile, because the high-concentration nitrogen has little moisture, it won’t affect the drying result even in the high ambient humidity.

The Nitrogen Dryer consists of three parts: the control unit, the 50 liters storage tank, and the 8~16 liters capacity adjustable drying hopper. Which has a potential output of 1.5~4kg/hr. The built-in nitrogen generator can generate nitrogen as long as there's the compressed air, and the maximum nitrogen concentration is up to 99%. Besides, the dryer is equipped with a nitrogen sensor to monitor the concentration variation in real time so that users can adjust it according to demands.
