News Coverage after K2019

K2019 has been successfully held during this October 16th-23rd in Düsseldorf of Germany. According to the official data, this big event covered nearly 178,000 sq. ms., attracting 3,330 exhibitors to compete in the same stage, and 224,000 professional visitors from global 163 countries and regions to witness the prosperity. Shini continues to exhibit in booth B57 of hall 11 and welcomed global guests with the classic black and white booth along with new products, new technology, and full of enthusiasm. K2019 was a great event for them to exchange ideas.

Granulating and recycling solution

The subject of this exhibit was a circular economy and sustainable development, which certainly included our granulating and recycling program. Its comprehensive solutions achieve full coverage from granulating besides machines to sound-proof centralized granulating. The collaboration between shredder and granulator can realize coarse and fine granulating of large plastic parts, to improve the recycling efficiency and eliminate the manual cutting of the plastic parts.

Intelligent water flow monitoring technology for mould

Most molding processes require the mould temperature controller or water chiller to achieve constant mould temperature or shorten the molding cycle. However, it often uses the water or oil as the heater transfer medium to control the mould temperature, which through water or oil flowing in the mould water loop to adjust the temperature. Therefore, the fluid flow across the mould inner water loop is critical to the stability of the mould temperature. After using the mould for some time, there will be impurities adhering to the pipe surface, which will reduce the fluid flow and heat transfer efficiency, finally, affecting product quality. So, it’s necessary to use a device for real-time flow monitoring. SIFR intelligent flow regulator is multi-channel water flow and temperature monitor. It can be independently used with the water heater, water chiller, or cooling tower in monitoring the mould loop and logging of data. SIFR will collect the temperature and water flow of each mould loop during the production to improve the process with strong supports. SIFR can quickly aid in locating and troubleshoot the problems when the products are defective, thus improving the production efficiency and achieving reliable manufacturing. The product is standard equipped with the RS485 interface that supports the Modbus-RTU protocol. The protocol is to interconnect between devices, so that is can achieve centralized monitoring, data logging and analysis, and traceability of process parameters in the production.

High-temp. water heater control technology

Present, most mould temperature controllers use water or oil as the heat transfer medium to achieve precise control of the mould temperature. In practical application, water as the medium is a more convenient source and cost-effective, in the mould temperature controller as the heat transfer medium. However, since the water boiling point at the standard atmospheric pressure is relatively low of 100℃/212℉.  The saturation pressure will increase rapidly if the temperature is over 100℃/212℉, which limits its use in high-temperature occasions. The two sets of water heaters displayed at K2019 could reach the maximum temperature of 120℃/248℉ and 180℃/356℉, respectively. They equipped with several safety measures to ensure a stable and reliable system under high-temperature and high pressure. A flow monitoring function can be an option to achieve real-time monitoring of the water flow. The STM series equips with the RS485 interface that supports the Modbus-RTU communication protocol. The protocol is to interconnect between devices, so that is can achieve centralized monitoring, data logging and analysis, and traceability of process parameters in the production.

Master batch metering technology

Plastic products after molding usually show a variety of different colors, so how to accurately add color masterbatch is significant in the molding process. According to different requirements, Shini can provide various dosing devices to metering the dose of masterbatch accurately. Such as the SGD gravimetric doser and SCM volumetric doser exhibit at the K2019. SCM adopts a precision-machined dosing screw to realize the accurate metering of masterbatch. The easy modular structure allows quick assembly and disassembles during the change of masterbatch without any tools.SGD implemented additional loss-in-weight technologies based on SCM dosing principle. It continually monitors dosing throughput and corrects the dosing for the finest dosing precision. SGD can offer user-friendly experience with an intuitive screen. The operator can monitor the real-time output of the masterbatch, and simple parameter settings make it easy for the operator to use the device. These two products equip standard RS485 or Ethernet interface, and support Modbus-RTU or Modbus-TCP protocol. Automation technology

The SCARA Robot System Integration and SR-900 Small Articulated Robot were displayed at the exhibition. The SCARA is driven by four-axis servo system, with light structure and fast response performance, which is most suitable for plane positioning and vertical assembly occasions. For example, the vertical injection molding machine applies to inserts fitting, products assembling, and low-load small products transporting. It can work with visual devices in different works of high expandable applications. SR-900 moves flexibly and freely to provide optimized taking out path that can be widely applied in stacking, transporting, processing and manufacturing, and injection molding. It has significant advantages in vertical injection molding applications that uses the idle time for post-synchronization processing. Such as nozzle shearing, de-burring, flash processing, product assembling, and transporting. The robot adopts integrated drive and control design, and its control system is driven traction rail guide, which is easy to move quickly with its anti-collision function, high security, mobile and portable design.
