One electronic company in Dongguan is a branch of a Taiwanese enterprise group. The company is specialized in manufacturing all kinds of computer cables and network cables which sell well around the world. Recently the company expanded production and introduced two more production lines, each of which contains 12 injection molding machines, to produce computer signal connection cables. To achieve high efficiency and low cost, the company gave up the manual feeding for single machine and in July, 2012 introduced the central conveying system from Shini to achieve auto-feeding.

Technical Parameters

The material is TPU raw material with regrinds which need to be dehumidified and dried for four hours. Totally 24 injection molding machines, with material consumption of 1.25kg/hr for each machine, the total material consumption is 30kg/hr. Each production line (with 12 injection machines) equips with one material pipe, one straight pipe for air suction, both elbows and straight material pipes adopt SUS201 pipes.

Planning System

The whole system can be divided into two areas, feeding totally 24 injection molding machines. There plans two SCDs in the material region to dehumidify and dry the materials for customers and also plans two storage tank to add the raw materials. Raw material and regrinds are mixed and sucked into the SCD through the proportional valve. Each molding area equipped with a blower which is used to provide power for the feeding from SCD. Each row of the injection molding machines adopts the same material pipe which is built on stilts with a height of 2.5m.

The system has been finished and put into service in August, 2012, till now, the system works well and helps the company achieve high efficiency and reduce cost, and also it wins good reputation for Shini.
