Parameter F.19 (Soft-start Settings)

Setting to 0 means the beginning of soft start. Soft start is actually a process that controls the output voltage to change from 0 to maxims according to certain functions. Setting to 1 means the soft start is over and the maximal output voltage is exported directly. When applied in SAL series, the set to 0 is used because the control panel drives the 1.15kW carbon brush motor directly and it can reduce the starting current and noise as well as extend the life span of the motor. When applied in SAL-UG series, soft start is not permitted because the control panel drives one contactor instead of the motor, otherwise it will bear weak pick-up effect because of inadequate coil voltage which can reduce the service life of the contactor and motor.

In addition, when employed in SAL-UG series, the capacitor indicated in diagram 2 should be removed. Otherwise the motor can not stop once starts. The reason is that the initial control panel design is based on direct drive of 1.15kW carbon brush motor with high capacitance. When the motor touches the contactor, the small leak current can not make the pull-in contactor released.

Parameter F.05 (Waiting Time of Circular Suction)

Waiting time of circular suction should be set again to start the second action when the first one is finished. This parameter can be set to 0 generally to ensure the hourly throughput. But when it is used together with the shredders, the storage tank will be vacant and sound an alarm after a few suctions because the crushing capacity is far lower than the quantity delivered. To set an appropriate waiting time (Parameter F.05) can solve this problem.

Parameter F.98/F.99 (The First / Second Grade Parameter Password)

The parameters of M0231A control panel are divided into two grades, and each grade can set a password protection. Once the operator forgets the password or replaces it without informing others, the end user will be troubled and even can not use it. To solve this problem, we set two decryption steps. When F.98 appears, press simultaneously, we may enter the parameter of the first grade after about 1.2 seconds. When F.99 appears, press at the same time, we may enter the parameter of the second grade after almost 1.2 seconds.
