Automation Solution in Electronic Industry
Connector, also known as connector assembly, plug, and socket in the
domestic market, is a kind of component that is often used by our electronic
engineering technicians. It acts as a bridge communicating between blocked
circuits or isolated circuits, thus achieving current circulation and
predetermined function. With the fast-growing of consumer electronics, automotive
electronics, and communication terminals, the demand for connectors is
increasing, and Asia has become the most potential connector market.
A company in Henan Province is the largest high-tech enterprise
specialized in R & D, production, and technical solutions of high reliable
optical, electrical, and fluid connectors in China. Since 2018, it has ordered
the Fully Servo Driven Robot ST3/ST5 from Shini many times for automated
injection molding of the connector accessories. After the robots are put into
use, their stable operation coordinating with the injection molding machine
cycle dramatically improves the production efficiency and quality.
The robots’ efficiency is 100%, with high throughput. After using them,
the production cycle becomes shorter and more stable, and automatic production
ensures safer production. During production, when removing heavy components and
repeating work, it’s easy to make workers tired and lose concentration, which
is not safe and healthy. It also discontinues high efficient production.
However, using robots can thoroughly solve these problems.
Fully Servo Driven Robot ST3
Fully Servo Driven Robot ST3/ST5 series is mainly used to take out finished products and sprues during injection molding. Besides, there are single arm and double arms for choosing, and they are applicable for 2-plate mould, 3-plate mould, or hot runner mould. The machine conforms to industrial 4.0 standard, which can realize various special actions, such as arranging, stacking, quality inspection, and embedding. They are available for injection molding machines under the 3600T clamping force.
