CHINAPLAS 2010 Post-show Report

CHINAPLAS 2010, the 24th International Exhibition on Plastics and Rubber Industries was held on April 19~22 2010 in Shanghai New International Expo Center.

CHINAPLAS has announced its new promotional slogan "The Growth Engine for Your Industries" to bring out the show new mission. CHINAPLAS will continue to bring plenty of solutions for various industries by showcasing the most innovative and advanced plastics and rubber machinery and raw materials in the coming future.

Besides formal W and E pavilion, 5 temporary pavilions were added to make the total area of venues 150,000 m². 2,144 exhibitors from 32 countries and regions and as many as 8 united exhibitors assembled to participate in this show whichnearly made this event enjoy equal fame to famous exhibitions as K-Show in Germany and NPE in America.

Shini Booth was situated beside the main corridor in E3 pavilion with total area of 216 m². The booth was divided into injection molding system demo area, robots demo area, energy-saving and eco-friendly products demo area and latest technology demo area etc.

Injection Molding System Demo Area

The composed demo system in this area consisted of self-developed Vacuum Dryer SVD, Hot Runner System, Robots and so on which showed Shinis strength in integrating material processing and automation system.

Robots Demo Area

All series of Shini Robots were showcased in this area including SS, ST1-T, ST3 and ST5. Shini has successfully developed Robots suitable for machinery with clamping force that smaller than 3,600 tons.

Energy-saving and Eco-friendly Products Demo Area

"Energy-saving and eco-friendly" has long being the significant index for Shini when developing new products. This area displayed material processing equipment and temperature controlling series such as SHD-HD, SCD-ES, SCAD-U and Chillers adopts the eco-friendly refrigerant R410A.

Latest Technology Demo Area

Material conveying equipment and feeding & mixing series were exhibited in this area. There were miniature SAL-1U, SCM-E, SGB-1200-4 as well as SLIW used for extrusion industry.

The total number of auxiliary equipment exhibitors greatly increased compared with previous ones which indicated industry prosperity after economic recovery. Shini should seize opportunities to launch new products, and at the same time develop better technology and product quality, execute innovation, come up with new ideas of development and enjoy market supremacy. Another experience is that machinery and equipment made in China have been recognized gradually all over the world as foreign professional purchasers negotiated more intensively during this exhibition. Prospect of plastics equipment industry will be full of vitality and incline to specialization and high precision.
