【Shini Group】Shini Supports Global Automotive Expansion with Advanced Central Conveying Solutions
A Slovakian automotive parts manufacturer specializing in automotive interior and exterior components and accessories has launched a project with a total investment of €20 million.Its parent company, listed on the Shanghai stock exchange, is recognized among China’s Top 100 automotive parts suppliers and is a leading provider of integrated automotive trim solutions, renowned for its strong capabilities and rigorous quality standards.
Recently, Shini successfully completed a customized central conveying system for the company, further supporting its expansion of overseas production capacity.
二 Customized Solutions for Efficient End-to-End Production
As overseas production capacity continued to grow, the customer required an automated, highly stable, and easy-to-manage central conveying system capable of supporting 27 horizontal injection moulding machines and three blow moulding machines. The system also needed to meet the dehumidifying , drying, and precise conveying requirements of various materials, including PP, PC/ABS, and TPO.
Drawing on decades of expertise in plastics auxiliary equipment, an extensive global service network, and rich industry experience, Shini delivered a fully customized integrated solution tailored to the customer’s production needs.
Throughout the project, Shini adhered to its end-to-end service process of “site survey → precision design → rigorous construction → standardized acceptance”, ensuring the solution was perfectly suited to on-site conditions and efficiently implemented.
After confirming the project requirements with the customer, Shini’s engineering team conducted a detailed on-site survey of the workshop, measured and verified all relevant data, and gained a thorough understanding of the customer’s operational requirements. Based on the site conditions and collected data, a 1:1 scale 3D construction drawing was created to guide the installation process. All installation work was carried out strictly according to the approved drawings and completed successfully under the supervision of the customer’s appointed personnel.
From initial planning through final construction, the entire project was executed with scientific system selection, comprehensive configuration planning, and rigorous construction standards.
三 System Overview
1. A single central control station is shared by both the injection moulding area and the material handling area. The system controls the material conveying and material shortage functions of the central vacuum hopper, blower start/stop operations, and the material discharge and shut-off functions of the shut-off suction boxes. Operators can easily manage the entire system through the human-machine interface (HMI).
Since the material handling room is located on a platform, the main control console was installed on the platform, while an additional secondary display was installed below the platform to support barcode scanning and error-proof operations for employees.
2. The system is equipped with 10 blowers in total, seven blowers supply material to the injection moulding machines in the workshop, two blowers supply material to the drying hoppers in the material room, and the last blower serves as a standby unit for daily backup and can be switched into operation quickly without changing the pipeline configuration.
3. The conveying pipeline adopts a distributor-based design with a dedicated pipeline for each machine, ensuring stable and efficient material delivery.
4. Virgin materials and regrind materials are proportionally blended using mixers.
