Purpose of Organization

Thanks to the network of sales and service pervading around the world, Shini Plastics Technologies. Inc has become one of leaders of plastics auxiliary machine production industry nowadays. Therefore, most of marketing share has been occupied by Shini with strong technique power. Meanwhile, it goes without saying that importance of Shini technology support, after-sell service, brand construction and marketing cannot be too much emphasized. English knowledge is of vitally crucial for daily working due to the global economical integration and highly sharing of information resources.

The current condition about Shini staff is that, except from few of workers with professional English major most of other engineers and technicians took Engineering as specialty in college and receive exam-oriented English learning.

In order to improve conditions above and promote staff English skills, Chris Chang, Assistant General Manager of Shini Corporation Technology Center firstly proposes to build a exclusive English learning field for Shini group, which acts as a English learning platform for all the Shini staff and regularly updates or provides English knowledge. In this way, resources are available for learners to conduct self-teaching and learners also are encouraged to take English courses.

Introduction to Courses

Pronunciation, grammar, reading and magazine constitute the integration of English learning field.

Starting from elementary letters and phonetic symbols, also assisting by video teaching, learners are able to gradually master how to pronounce words correctly till they grasp pronouncing rules. Thus this kind of advanced learning allows learners to make progress step by step and lays well fundamental skills.

Grammar learning includes primary, intermediate and higher learning three parts. Teaching approach of combining self-learning, instructor explanation and video teaching enables earners to understand grammar rules well.

An effective reading habit is greatly helpful of consolidating English learning, also allow learners to experience the pleasure of leaning English. A basic reading method generally starts from reading daily conversations or short sentences then to the sentences with more complex structures. Finally, the skills of how to read essays can be mastered by learners.

Magazine reading is thought of as a way to strengthen what we learned because not only English skills could be improved but more knowledge could be grasped through a wide-range reading.

Study Dynamic

At present, English learning field is on the way of fully construction and soon can serve for all Shini staff. Due to the leading role of Chris Chang, English learning field makes its debut in Shini Corporation Technology Center, taking the way of fixed time teaching and spare time self-teaching with one hour course on Wednesday night, when instructor and learners get together to watch video and discuss English knowledge.

Until now, learners have finished the learning of elemental pronunciation and grammar learning has been under progress with the end of primary grammar learning. Interchange learning no doubt evokes interests of English learning and what is more, consolidate what they have learned.

Feedback of Learners

As far as learners are concerned, in-service training will be greatly important for career development and they all think that the advanced learning in groups is helpful for strengthening learning outcomes.

According to the suggestion from learners, English learning is planned to be transformed as an interactive and vivacious way, such as watching short films of English dialogues to improve spoken English so that continuing English learning would be practical and driving force of learning may be increased several times over.
