Quality Management in Dept. of Hot Runner System

Mold is the mother of industries. Size precision of all mold parts must be systematized and standardized and every processing task should be finished with countermeasures. Thus the whole staff must emphasize acts on self-check, mutual-check and technical-check.

 

There are several points render the mold part production distinguished from other industries and these points pose great challenge for the quality management:

Part is a single piece of production, hardly any bulk or small quantities.

There will be numbers of defective disqualified parts as long as the mold has quality problems.

Mold producing requires high quality consciousness of operators; otherwise there will be tremendous quality cost.

Compared to other industries, the requirement of mold working procedure ability is higher and part precision control must be stabilized.

There are all kinds of technical documents, drawings and correlative quality control systems.

These points above show the development way of mold production control and quality control.

 

I stress two points in the following:

Emphasize leadership and pay attention to the key role of staff throughout the whole producing chain.

Attitude to mold quality determines working states. It is generally thought that leadership is the foundation and backing of quality system   construction of Corporation, maintenance and standardized operation. Business leaders should create an effective environment for running mold quality management system.

Emphasize the development of quality management consciousness of total staff.

Quality management of mould enterprise needs both a good leader and a good team. In addition to training quality awareness of full participation, total quality management also needs the quality control of whole process. All courses that come down to product quality, including design processes, manufacturing processes, supporting production processes and applying processes, should be to control in order to comprehensively improve the product quality.

These two points above can form the quality management system of standardized design, principled processing and assembly procedures; thereby ensure a normal volume production.
