Advantages of the Air-cooled Drying & Dehumidifying Equipment

As the technology developed, there are different types of plastic materials that vary greatly in different shapes. Different plastic materials have their unique properties according to their characteristics, which may result in different molding processes, and the dryness required by the plastics is an important performance among these differences. Drying is to remove the moisture in the plastic materials to make the dryness meet the requirement of the molding process. For common ABS, PP, PS and other materials, using common hot-air dryer can meet the demands. However, for highly hygroscopic materials, such as PC, PET, PA, PLA etc., it needs to use the drying equipment with dehumidifying function to improve the yield of the plastic products greatly.


Field Application of Shini “ALL-in-One” Compact Dryer SCD

As mentioned above, for plastic materials and molding processes with different properties, Shini provides the Hot-air Dryer SHD and "ALL-in-One" Compact Dryer SCD to the market to meet the requirement of various molding processes. Among them, the conventional drying and dehumidifying equipment SCD needs the water circulation system to provide sufficient cooling water flow and reduce the return air temperature of the drying loop, which ensures the machine can provide low dew-point dry air continuously and stably, and the dew-point can reach temp. of -40℃. As the connection of cooling water, it affects the mobility and installing convenience in a certain degree. In order to meet the demands of users on these aspects better, Shini developed the air-cooled drying and dehumidifying equipment without the cooling water. It adopts the air heat-exchanger to reduce the return air temp. of the drying loop, so as to  ensure constant return air temp. Besides, it can preheat the normal temp. inlet air that saves the some energy and improves the  mobility and installing convenience of the equipment effectively. This is more friendly to users not using the water circulation system, thus saving the cost on water pipelines.  During installation, it doesn't need to consider the water inlet position, which is easy to install and move the equipment, and meet the demands of flexible layout in the plant.

In addition to the air-cooled drying and dehumidifying equipment, Shini has also developed the Smart Modular Dehumidifying Drying. This series of models can ensure the plastic materials in a suitable drying environment and their dryness just at an appropriate state all the time. With the recipe function, it can save different drying recipes as per different materials, which is user-friendly to user's parameter calls. The touch control operation can intuitively display various states of the equipment, and it is very easy for the worker to operate.

The drying air quantity of Shini drying and dehumidifying equipment can reach up to 4000m3/hr, and the drying hopper capacity can reach 8000L. That can meet the demand of mass materials processing, and it also can customize various exclusive functions according to actual requirement.
