The Application of Shut-off Suction Box

Share to:
Using the centralized material processing system often conveys plastic materials from the dryer or material storage tank to other machines. It needs material valves to control the start and stop of the plastics material flow to ensure a clean material line at the end of conveying cycle. An uncontrol conveying cycle with residual material remains in the material line will often cause line blockage at the start of the new conveying cycle. The material valve with a shut-off function is called the shut-off suction box, also known as the material cleaning valve.

Material conveying is done on the principle that material is carried and conveyed while air is sucted by the vacuum blower. Air is essential in the material conveying. Shini shut-off suction box has a material shut-off valve and a unique built-in structure of air refill that can provide fresh air for smooth distance conveying. Before the conveying time is up, the shut-off device will close the material port during the cycle. While the suction blower remains ON.  The blower takes fresh air from the air inlet on the shut-off box to clean residual materials in the pipe, thus preventing moisture regain of dry materials remaining in the line, which also effectively avoids the blockage caused by accumulated materials in the line.

Shini provides single-tube and double-tube shut-off suction boxes for the customer according to the number of material lines. To meet the required standard of the line quality, Shini is available to provide aluminum and stainless steel materials. Shini can offer pipe diameters of 38.1mm, 50.8mm, and 63.5mm for pipe diameter demands. When it needs to convey materials to several machines, the user can customize a multi-tube shut-off suction box according to actual directions. Shini is supportive of customizing various pipe diameters and materials.
