Why Are We Using the Material Distribution Station?

Share to:
A central conveying system is used for the centralized processing of various materials, which is generally driven by the blower to transfer materials to the injection moulding machine via the material pipeline. In the central conveying system, we can see the material distribution station used in many applications. The material distribution station is vital for an automatic centralized conveying system and is indispensable. It can distribute one or several materials through each material distribution station and then transport them to different injection molding machines, significantly improving productivity.

Shini central material distribution station SMDS is equipped with stainless steel quick connectors for convenient assembly and disassembly and material replacement without contamination. The stainless steel branch pipes ensure no material contamination. Modular design for easy assembly; Its framework is firm and durable, with long service life. It can be customized with different styles, pipe diameters, and functions according to the user's needs.

When replacing the mould of the injection molding machine, it usually has to switch the material at the same time. In case of a mistake during the switching, and it's unable to detect the error in time, it will result in defective mass products and substantial economic losses. In response, Shini has equipped the error prevention system for the material distribution station, and each interface has a signal line connected to the central control station for monitoring. It can verify the preset parameters set all the time. If the interface has a wrong connection, the system will receive the signal immediately and judge and compare the set parameters. Besides, it will give an alarm and stop material conveying instantly and indicate the errors to ensure accurate material switching and distribution in the production process.

The material distribution station mentioned above is manually operated, and the station's connectors are plugged in manually. This requires high work intensity and making mistakes when different processing materials are easy. Shini central material distribution station SEL is driven by a servo motor, which can find the setting defined by the operator, and automatically match to material. All these operations can be completed by simply clicking and setting in the central control station to reduce the labor intensity and carry out fault-tolerance management in the control program, thus reducing the material selection mistakes to avoid man-made contamination.
